Deadlifts for Change

Last November, Firey Lou held our first-ever Deadlifts for Change event as part of the 16 Days of Activism campaign, raising awareness and funds to help end gender-based violence. Community members came together at the gym to lift for a cause, smashing our goal of 1,000 deadlifts and showing incredible strength, both physical and collective. The event created a supportive and empowering space where people of all abilities could take action, spark conversations, and stand in solidarity with victim-survivors. It was an inspiring day that showed just how powerful our community can be when we lift each other up both literally and figuratively.
